Recognizing excellence in academics, leadership, and living out our Core Values. At Notre Dame Elementary and Middle School, we take pride in celebrating our students’ hard work, academic excellence, and commitment to our Core Values. Through quarterly and annual awards, we recognize the many ways our students strive to grow in knowledge, character, and faith.
Honor Roll
Students in grades 4 through 8 are eligible for the Honor Roll at the end of each academic quarter. Honor Roll eligibility is determined by each student’s Grade Point Average (GPA), which is calculated using the following point scale divided by the total possible credits:
- First Honors: 4.0 and above
- Second Honors: 3.5 - 3.99
- Merit Roll: 3.25 - 3.49
This recognition celebrates students who demonstrate consistent academic achievement and dedication to their studies.
Core Values Shout Outs
Our Core Values Shout Outs honor students who live out the heart of Notre Dame each day. Teachers and staff award these shout outs to students who exemplify our five Core Values:
- Justice
- Respect
- Integrity
- Community
- Excellence
These recognitions remind us that true success is built not only on knowledge, but also on character and compassion.
End-of-Year Awards Assembly
Each spring, Notre Dame Elementary and Middle School hosts grade-level Awards Assemblies to celebrate the accomplishments of our students. During these special events, students are recognized within their own grade for outstanding achievements in academics, leadership, and service throughout the school year.
These assemblies provide a meaningful opportunity for classmates, teachers, and families to honor the hard work and growth of every student.
