If, after your campus tour, you feel that Notre Dame is the right fit for your family, we invite you to take the next steps in our admissions process. Below, you’ll find detailed information for applying to Preschool, Kindergarten, or transferring into Grades 1–8.

Preschool Applicants

  • Complete an application for admission
  • Attend Preschool Screening
  • New students will be accepted after the screening

Preschool Criteria:

  • Students must be three years old by September 30 of attending school year
  • Students must be Toilet Trained
 

Kindergarten Applicants

  • Complete an application for admission
  • Attend Kindergarten Screening
  • New students will be accepted after the screening

Criteria:

  • Must be 5 years old by September 30 of the school year
 

Transfer Students (Grades 1–8)

  • Complete an application for admission
  • Schedule a Shadow Day
  • Take an Admissions Assessment – this will be administered on the student’s shadow day
  • Submit current report cards and standardized test scores
  • Submit a Student Profile Form completed by the student’s current school
  • Students will be reviewed for acceptance after all of the above has been completed and/or submitted.
 

Admission Priorities

When space is limited, priority is given to:

  • Students with siblings currently attending Notre Dame Elementary and Middle School or NDCL.
  • Students enrolled in Notre Dame Preschool.
  • Students from parishes without an elementary school.
  • Students from parishes with an elementary school.
  • Students of other faith traditions.
