Endowment is the primary vehicle that funds our financial aid and merit scholarship awards, plus some of the school’s operational needs.
Notre Dame Schools maintains a policy of spending approximately 5% of its Endowment principal for these needs on an annual basis—the principal is never touched. Growing the Endowment is a top philanthropic priority of Notre Dame Schools. As outlined in our current Strategic Plan, the goal by 2035 is for our Endowment to reach $50 million.
