After Care Program
Notre Dame Elementary and Middle School offers an After Care Program designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for students after school hours.
Hours & Location
Pre-K–8: 2:40–6:00 p.m.
Location: NDES Dining Room (Back Door Entrance)
After Care operates only on regular school days.
Registration & Fees
- Registration Fee: $55 per student (required before attending)
Rates:
- $4.50 for the first half hour (includes snack)
- $1.50 for each additional 15 minutes
- $5.00 late fee per 10 minutes after 6:00 p.m.
- Faculty and staff fees are waived, except for a $2 snack fee.
- Elementary school billing begins at 2:45 p.m.
- Once registered, families will receive monthly emailed statements.
Usage Options
After Care is available for regular or occasional use.
- Regular Users: Attend on scheduled days indicated on the registration form. Please contact the office if schedules change.
- Occasional Users: Attend as needed. Families should leave a message on the Change of Transportation system for the days their child will attend.
Pick-Up Procedures
- Children will only be released to authorized adults listed on the registration form. A driver’s license will be required for unfamiliar adults.
Parking:
- When the access road is chained off, please park near the basketball court.
- When open, limited parking is available behind the gym.
After School Sports
Coaches or assistant coaches must be listed as authorized adults on the registration form to sign a child out for practice. Parents are responsible for notifying coaches if their child is in After Care.
Snacks & Clothing
- A daily snack is provided.
- Students may bring a change of clothes following the school’s out-of-uniform policy.
- The school is not responsible for lost or damaged clothing.
Safety & Behavior
All school rules apply during After Care. Respectful behavior and safe play are expected at all times.
- Students may not leave designated areas without staff permission.
- Electronic devices are not permitted.
Homework Time
A quiet period is provided daily for homework. Staff will supervise this time, but completion of assignments is the student’s responsibility.
